CTP’s extensive experience in international Border Security initiatives has run parallel to our fundamental work in export control compliance. We have developed and delivered training, customized and deployed software, managed bilateral and multilateral conference, and supplied a wide range of Subject Matter Experts for U.S. Government outreach programs in over 60 countries on five continents.
We’ve worked on the 2nd Line of Defense program for the Department of Energy, the Export Control Cooperation (ECC) and International Narcotics & Law (INL) enforcement programs at the State Department, the Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC) initiative at Treasury, and the Office of International Programs (OIP) and the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) at the Department of Commerce. We have also developed and customized software tools for border security purposes, including the Product Identification Tool (PIT), the Targeting & Risk Management (TRM) software, the Shippers Internal Control Plan (SIC-P), and the Maritime Information Management System (MIMS).
In the course of our border security work, CTP has developed a deep international pool of SMEs and a network of NGOs who are highly capable and well-connected within their respective countries and regions.
