CTP has worked since 2003 in Central and South America in support of U.S. government initiatives. From conferences and customized workshops, we’ve planned and managed events in several domains, including export control, counter-narcotics, border security, radiation detection and maritime security.
In May 2008, CTP provided extensive logistic and program support to a conference for the Organization of American States (OAS). Held in Buenos Aires, this very successful conference assembled approximately 80 high-level officials representing countries from throughout the Caribbean and South America. CTP arranged the agenda and all program materials, including providing on-site, real-time translation and distribution of presenter materials received at the last minute. CTP’s handling of all logistics, including invitations, transportation, lodging, catering, photography, and equipment, earned stellar reviews from clients for our outstanding quality, and especially given the abbreviated timeframes. A CTP senior expert provided a report of the proceedings.
In February 2012, CTP planned and managed a multilateral conference in the Dominican Republic, gathering experts from South and Central America to discuss the Megaports program to screen cargo for radioactive material. This was the second of a series of conferences staged by CTP on behalf of the Department of Energy, 2nd Line of Defense program. The three day program featured plenary sessions, break-out expert discussions, and a site visit to view the portal monitors and analytic equipment in action.
