Training Development
CTP builds training using a proven Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology to engage adult learners in a professional context. Reaching adult learners demands a different approach than in the schoolhouse, so CTP training strategies address the experience and opinions of learners, leading to a rich, engaging instructional experience. CTP training materials engage and challenge learners though realistic scenarios and case studies and a broad mix of instructor-led sessions, paper-based and computer-based exercises, electronic tools, and interactivity to best suit each audience, the specific material, and the exact training goal.
Using ISD best practices, CTP-developed training reaches a variety of users through multiple in-person and online means. The current canon spans awareness workshops, skill-building courses to assist in establishing infrastructure, and training wrapped around tools to enhance job performance. Our curriculum toolkit also includes Train-the-Trainer workshops designed to indigenize courses with recipient organizations, including training in effective instruction techniques.
CTP's methodology incorporates instructional designers as well as leading technical and subject matter experts to create results-oriented courses that focus on learner needs. This quality-centric approach ensures that materials are not only thematically rich and instructionally effective, but also specifically focused on the specific requirements of each client. Evaluations follow training to capture opportunities for improvement.
