While most of CTP's North American work focuses on helping private industry clients to comply efficiently and effectively with their export control requirements, we have also worked since 2003 in Central and South America to conduct export control and border security training in Mexico, Panama, and Canada, as well as maritime anti-terrorism security training in the Bahamas.
For private clients, CTP provides compliance assessments, training, and manual templates to help companies develop or upgrade their internal export control policies. We also perform consulting services, notably product classification assistance and assistance with technical documents like Technology Assistance Agreement (TAAs) or Voluntary Self Disclosures (VSDs). Our customized approach, which blends best practices, solid domain expertise, and sensitivity to individual circumstances, has yielded a consistently satisfied clientele. In May 2008, CTP provided extensive logistic and program support to a conference of the Organization of American States. Held in Buenos Aires, this very successful conference assembled approximately 80 high-level officials representing countries from throughout the Caribbean and South America. CTP arranged the agenda and all program materials, including providing on-site, real-time translation and distribution of presenter materials received at the last minute. CTP's handling of all logistics, including invitations, transportation, lodging, catering, photography, and equipment, earned stellar reviews from clients for our outstanding quality, and especially given the abbreviated timeframes. A CTP senior expert provided a report of the proceedings.
