Rick Phipps guides CTP's efforts in the private-sector, coordinating the development and delivery of customized solutions and training to corporate clients. Mr. Phipps is a business process and knowledge management expert. Over the past seven years he has built and managed many of the information and logistical tools used by CTP and its clients, including the State and Interagency Schedules, the Office of International Program's Strategic Planning and Proposal Master, the Action Log Database, and the Issue Tracking Log. Mr. Phipps served previously as Project Manager on numerous multi-lateral and bilateral inbound conferences and workshops, and in the process, developed critical methodologies such as the Inbound and Outbound Checklists, the national customization timelines of the Internal Control Program and Product Identification Tool programs, and the Internal Audit Program for export control systems in private companies. Prior to his work with CTP, Mr. Phipps specialized in business start-ups, bringing several small and mid-sized companies to regional and national acclaim over fifteen years. He has written numerous articles and columns, and delivers workshops and keynote speeches on motivational/leadership psychology. Mr. Phipps studied in the Business Administration program at the University of Alberta, and the Masters of Professional Writing program at the University of Southern California.
