Rossitza Petrov specializes in program/project management, strategic trade control training development and delivery. She has 20 years of experience in the international arena with a diverse portfolio of positions and responsibilities in both the private and public sectors. At CTP, she has organized, managed and presented at bilateral inbound and outbound training activities, and has participated in the negotiation, development and deployment of strategic trade control software applications, such as the Internal Control Program (ICP), Product Identification Tool (PIT), Licensing Officer Instructional Simulation (LOIS) and the electronic licensing project: Tracker. These projects were conducted throughout Eastern Europe, the Newly Independent States of the former Soviet Union, and Asia. Mrs. Petrov is fluent in Bulgarian, conversant in all Slavic languages, and has solid working knowledge of Russian and German, with applied experience in 3 countries. Prior to joining CTP, Mrs. Petrov served as Manager, Public Affairs & Corporate Relations at BSI Management Systems, where she was responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of communication strategies, and also for development efforts directed towards the public and private sector, trade associations and other stakeholder groups. In that capacity, Mrs. Petrov authored numerous articles and background materials related to the ISO family of international management systems standards in the areas of quality, environment and information security which were published in specialized trade magazines. Mrs. Petrov holds a M.A. in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University.
