Roger Majak is a widely recognized international trade law, regulation, administration, and management expert. Capping more than twenty years of experience in international trade in both government and the private sector, he was appointed Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration by President Clinton, serving in that position from 1997 to 2001. He began his career as a legislative assistant, serving in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. From 1975-85 he served as Chief of Staff of the House Subcommittee on International Economic Policy and Trade, with jurisdiction over export controls, foreign investment, and related international economic programs and issues. Mr. Majak holds a B.A. in Political Science and Journalism from Northwestern University, and an M.A. in International Relations from Ohio State University.
